Storage Duration

5. Analytics Tools

PostHog

We use PostHog to analyze user behavior on our website. The provider is PostHog Inc. PostHog is operated on the EU instance (eu.posthog.com), so that all data is processed and stored exclusively on servers within the European Union.

PostHog is only activated if you have given your consent to the “Analytics” category via the cookie consent banner. PostHog collects, among other things:

  • Page views and navigation behavior
  • Device information (browser type, screen size, operating system)
  • Approximate location (based on IP address)

The IP address is anonymized. No merging with other data sources takes place.

Leadinfo

Based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can grant via our cookie banner, we use the lead generation service of Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, Netherlands. This service identifies company visits to our website based on IP addresses and shows us publicly available information, such as company names or addresses. In addition, Leadinfo sets two first-party cookies to analyze user behavior on our website and processes domains from form inputs (e.g., “leadinfo.com”) to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve its services.

Leadinfo is only activated if you have given your consent to the “Analytics” category via the cookie consent banner. You can revoke your consent at any time via the cookie consent banner.

HubSpot

HubSpot is operated on the EU instance (js-eu1.hs-scripts.com), so that all data is processed on servers within the European Union.

6. Plugins and Tools

Google Web Fonts (Local Hosting)

This site uses so-called web fonts for the uniform display of typefaces. The fonts are installed locally. No connection to Google servers is established.

YouTube (Facade/Lazy Loading)

Videos from YouTube are embedded on our website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use a YouTube facade (lazy loading) that initially does not establish any connection to YouTube servers when the page loads. Only when you actively click on the video is a connection to YouTube’s servers established. YouTube is then informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to directly associate your browsing behavior with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an appealing presentation of our online offering) or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), if consent was given via the cookie consent banner.

7. Applicant Data

If you send us a job application, we process the associated personal data (e.g., contact and communication data, application documents, notes from interviews, etc.) to the extent necessary for the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (general contract initiation), and — if you have given consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

If the application is unsuccessful, the data you have submitted will be deleted no later than six months after the conclusion of the application process. This does not apply if longer retention is required due to legal requirements or if you have expressly consented to longer storage.
