Getting Started
What do I need to use amaiko?
You need an active amaiko account and Microsoft Teams. Your organization's admin installs the app from the Teams App Store. Sign up at store.amaiko.ai.
How do I get started after installation?
Click the amaiko icon in your Teams sidebar to open the chat tab. You'll be guided through a brief setup to connect your Microsoft 365 account.
Can I use amaiko on mobile?
Yes. amaiko works in Microsoft Teams on desktop, web, and mobile. The experience is optimized for each platform.

What can amaiko do?
amaiko helps you manage emails, calendar, files, and tasks — all from within Microsoft Teams. Ask it to draft emails, find documents, summarize meetings, or plan your day.
Does amaiko remember previous conversations?
Yes. amaiko learns your preferences, communication style, and work patterns over time, becoming more helpful with each interaction.
What are proactive notifications?
amaiko can send you daily briefings, meeting summaries, and important email alerts directly in Teams — without you having to ask.
What are the limitations?
amaiko works best for day-to-day productivity tasks within Microsoft 365. It cannot access systems outside your M365 environment. All responses are AI-generated and should be reviewed for accuracy.
Data & Privacy
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored exclusively in Germany (EU), hosted on German infrastructure. Fully GDPR compliant.
Is the content AI-generated?
Yes. All responses from amaiko are generated by AI. While we strive for accuracy, please review important information before acting on it. AI-generated messages are labeled accordingly.
How can I report inappropriate content?
Use the thumbs-down button on any message to flag it, or email support@amaiko.ai. We review all reports and take action promptly.
How do I request data deletion?
Email support@amaiko.ai to request complete data deletion. We process all requests within 30 days as required by GDPR.
Troubleshooting
amaiko isn't responding to my messages
Try refreshing the chat tab or restarting Teams. If the issue persists, remove and reinstall the app, or contact support@amaiko.ai.
I can't find amaiko in Teams
Ask your Teams administrator to install amaiko from the App Store. Some organizations require admin approval for third-party apps.
The setup process isn't working
Ensure you're signed in to Teams with your work account and that your admin has granted the necessary permissions. Contact support@amaiko.ai if you're still stuck.
