Installation

Teams App Installation

  1. 1 Download the amaiko Teams ZIP from the download card above.
  2. 2 Sign in to the Microsoft Teams Admin Center as a Teams administrator.
  3. 3 Navigate to Teams apps → Manage apps.
  4. 4 Click Actions → Upload new app, then select the amaiko ZIP file.
  5. 5 Under Teams apps → Permission policies, allow amaiko for your target users.
  6. 6 Under Teams apps → Setup policies, pin amaiko so users find it in their sidebar.
  7. 7 Open amaiko in Manage apps and switch to the Permissions tab.
  8. 8 Click "Review permissions and consent" and consent as a Global Administrator on behalf of your organization.

Outlook Add-in Installation

  1. 1 Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center as Global or Exchange administrator.
  2. 2 Open Settings → Integrated apps from the left-hand navigation.
  3. 3 Click "Upload apps" at the top of the Integrated apps view.
  4. 4 Select "Office Add-in" and choose "Provide link to manifest file".
  5. 5 Enter the manifest URL: https://outlook.amaiko.ai/manifest.xml
  6. 6 Wait for Microsoft to validate the manifest automatically.
  7. 7 Define the deployment target — everyone, a Microsoft Entra group, or specific users.
  8. 8 Confirm and deploy. Rollout to end users may take up to 6 hours.

  • Microsoft 365 work or school mailbox (Exchange Online) — not personal Outlook.com or Gmail accounts
  • Outlook on Windows: Microsoft 365 Apps version 2409+, retail Office 2021/2024 version 2501+, or volume-licensed/LTSC Office 2024 version 2408+
  • Outlook on Mac version 16.89 or newer
  • Outlook on the web, or Outlook mobile (iOS/Android) on the latest version
  • Admin permissions to deploy the add-in to your organization
