Can amaiko read my tax firm's DATEV accounting data?
Yes. The DATEV Rechnungswesen specialist reads fiscal years, the chart of accounts, sums and balances, account postings with their documents, payment terms and posting batches through the DATEV data service Export Rechnungswesen, plus the client register through Mandantenstammdaten. The only thing it writes to DATEV is a posting batch you have confirmed, transferred through the DATEV Buchungsdatenservice; it arrives not festgeschrieben, so your firm still reviews it in Rechnungswesen.
How does amaiko connect to DATEV?
Each employee connects with their own DATEV identity (SmartLogin, SmartCard or mIDentity) from the amaiko settings page, choosing which DATEV data services amaiko may use. A session lasts one working day; individual clients can be kept connected for up to two years.
Which DATEV data services does the tax firm need?
The DATEV data service Export Rechnungswesen must be ordered for the clients you want to read, and DATEV Basisdaten online for the client register. The specialist tells you on connect if a client is missing the export service. Transferring a posting batch additionally needs the DATEV Buchungsdatenservice enabled for that client.
