Annex C of LUIGI’s data processing agreement template says of both: “KEINE gesonderte Berufsgeheimnis-Zusatzvereinbarung” (no separate professional-secrecy agreement). LUIGI’s compliance annex calls one “nicht zwingend” (not mandatory). amaiko has signed one with Microsoft.

3. Microsoft 365 Copilot: in Teams, but no DATEV

Copilot is already in Teams, Outlook and Word, at $30 per user per month on top of a qualifying Microsoft 365 licence.

For a tax firm the essential part is missing: Copilot brings no DATEV connection of its own, so your client data stays out of reach until someone builds and maintains a connection. And Copilot’s flex routing can process AI outside the EU, in the US, Canada or Australia. It is on by default for EU tenants created after March 25, 2026; existing tenants have to check Message Center post MC1269223 and opt out. For your firm, that means: Langdock has no DATEV integration of its own.
